By using the Service, you acknowledge that Dollmob will collect and use information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Service.


1. Information We Collect

Dollmob collects information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, information from content you upload or submit, and limited information from third-party services.

  • Doll profiles.
  • Closet or collection entries.
  • Comments, replies, reactions, tags, and favorites.
  • Wiki contributions.
  • Tutorials, guides, references, corrections, or other community contributions.
  • Artist, seller, collector, company, or project information you choose to share.
  • Public activity such as posts, listings, edits, or contributions.

Information you choose to make public may be visible to other users and may be indexed, copied, saved, quoted, or shared by others.

1.3 Uploaded Content

Dollmob may collect and process content you upload or submit, including:

  • Photos and images.
  • Image metadata, if included in uploaded files.
  • Text descriptions.
  • Doll names and profile information.
  • Closet item details.
  • Listing details.
  • Comments and captions.
  • Wiki edits.
  • Tags, categories, and labels.
  • Files or other materials submitted to the Service.

Dollmob may process uploaded content to operate and improve the Service, including to resize images, generate thumbnails, display content, provide search, apply tags, detect sensitive visual content, blur or label content, moderate abuse, investigate reports, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

Dollmob does not use User Content in advertising, sponsorships, promotional materials, or off-platform marketing without separate permission.

1.4 Private Messages

Dollmob may allow users to send private messages to other users. Private messages are not intended to be publicly displayed by Dollmob, but they are processed by Dollmob as part of operating the Service.

Dollmob may collect, store, transmit, display, moderate, secure, and maintain private messages as necessary to provide the messaging feature.

Dollmob may access, review, preserve, disclose, restrict, or remove private messages where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, enforce the Terms of Service, investigate abuse, respond to user reports, comply with law, prevent harm, or protect Dollmob, users, or others.

You should not send highly sensitive personal information through private messages, including government identification numbers, financial account information, passwords, authentication codes, private addresses, medical information, or other information you would not want another user or unauthorized person to access. Dollmob cannot control what other users do with information you choose to send to them.

1.5 Listing Information

Dollmob may allow eligible users who are at least 18 years old to create listing pages for dolls, doll clothing, accessories, supplies, or related items.

Listing information may include:

  • Item title.
  • Item description.
  • Item photos.
  • Brand, sculpt, size, category, or condition information.
  • Asking price.
  • Availability status.
  • External marketplace or payment links.
  • Shipping-related descriptions.
  • Seller-provided terms.
  • Sold, expired, removed, or archived status.
  • Marketplace feedback.
  • Reports or moderation information related to listings.

Dollmob does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, ship items, verify transactions, or act as a buyer, seller, payment processor, broker, auctioneer, or marketplace facilitator.

If users choose to complete transactions through third-party services such as PayPal, Ko-fi, shipping carriers, or external marketplaces, those third parties may collect and process information under their own privacy policies.

1.6 Reports, Moderation Logs, and Safety Information

Dollmob may collect and store information related to reports, moderation, security, abuse prevention, and enforcement, including:

  • User reports.
  • Reported content.
  • Reporter and reported-user account information.
  • Usernames associated with reports or enforcement actions.
  • Moderation notes.
  • Appeal information.
  • Enforcement actions.
  • Spam, scam, fraud, or abuse indicators.

Dollmob uses this information to enforce its Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, protect users, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, maintain trust and safety, and secure the Service.

1.7 Device, Usage, and Technical Information

When you use the Service, Dollmob may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address.
  • Device type.

  • Operating system.

  • Pages viewed.
  • Features used.
  • Dates and times of access.

Dollmob does not use private messages for advertising targeting.

1.10 Age-Related Information

Dollmob is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

Dollmob may collect age-related confirmations or other limited information reasonably necessary to determine whether users are eligible to use certain features, such as marketplace-related listing features that require users to be at least 18 years old.

Dollmob does not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or use the Service. If Dollmob learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, Dollmob will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

1.11 Donations and Third-Party Payment Services

Dollmob may accept voluntary donations or support payments through third-party services such as Ko-fi.

Dollmob does not directly process donation payments unless otherwise stated. Payment information is generally collected and processed by the applicable third-party payment provider under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

Dollmob may receive limited information from donation providers, such as donor name, username, email address, donation amount, date, message, transaction status, or related records, depending on the third-party provider’s settings and policies.


2. How We Use Information

  • Enforce the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

  • Communicate with users about account, security, policy, or Service matters.

3. Advertising and Sponsorships

Dollmob may support the Service through donations, sponsorships, paid placements, or advertising.

Dollmob’s advertising approach is intended to be community-relevant and clearly labeled. Advertising should not be confused with user-generated content, community posts, wiki entries, listings, messages, or personal recommendations.

Dollmob will not use User Content in ads, sponsorships, promotional materials, or off-platform marketing without separate permission.

Dollmob will not knowingly display advertising that is unsafe, harmful, deceptive, or irrelevant to the Service’s audience.

Dollmob does not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Dollmob does not use private messages, reports, moderation status, sensitive content settings, or highly sensitive personal information for advertising targeting.


4. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Dollmob may use automated tools to operate, secure, moderate, improve, or maintain the Service. These tools may assist with spam detection, abuse detection, fraud prevention, content labeling, profanity filtering, sensitive visual content detection, search, recommendations, accessibility, or similar Service functions.

Dollmob does not use User Content, private messages, listings, wiki contributions, uploaded images, or Service data to train third-party artificial intelligence models without separate permission.

Users and third parties may not scrape, harvest, download, extract, or use User Content, Community Contributions, Service data, listings, images, text, metadata, or other materials from the Service to train, fine-tune, develop, evaluate, improve, or operate artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, datasets, or similar automated tools without Dollmob’s express written permission.


5. How We Share Information

Dollmob may share information in the ways described below.

5.1 With Other Users

Information you choose to make public may be visible to other users, including public profile information, doll profiles, closet entries, listings, comments, reactions, tags, wiki contributions, feedback, and other public activity.

Private messages are shared with the users you send them to.

5.2 With Service Providers

Dollmob may share information with service providers that help operate the Service, such as hosting providers, database providers, email providers, authentication providers, moderation tools, analytics providers, storage providers, security providers, customer support tools, and donation or payment-related providers.

Service providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to Dollmob or as otherwise permitted by law.

5.3 With Third-Party Services You Choose to Use

If you choose to use third-party services, such as PayPal, Ko-fi, external marketplaces, shipping carriers, social platforms, or linked websites, information may be collected and processed by those third parties under their own terms and privacy policies.

Dollmob is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

5.4 For Legal, Safety, and Enforcement Reasons

Dollmob may access, preserve, disclose, or share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or government requests.
  • Enforce the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Dollmob may share information with your permission or at your direction.


6. What We Do Not Do

Dollmob does not claim ownership of your User Content.

Dollmob does not use User Content in advertising, sponsorships, promotional materials, or off-platform marketing without separate permission.

Dollmob does not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Dollmob does not use private messages for advertising targeting.

Dollmob does not directly process marketplace payments unless this Privacy Policy is updated to say otherwise.

Dollmob does not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or use the Service.

Dollmob does not authorize users or third parties to use Service data or User Content to train artificial intelligence models without express written permission.

Dollmob does not publicly expose deleted users’ email addresses or phone numbers.


7. User Controls and Choices

Depending on the features available, you may be able to:

  • Access and update account information.
  • Change profile information.
  • Delete certain content.
  • Adjust privacy settings.
  • Adjust content visibility settings.
  • Control sensitive content display or blur settings.
  • Manage notification preferences.
  • Enable or disable two-factor authentication.
  • Block or mute users.
  • Report content or users.
  • Appeal certain moderation actions.
  • Delete your account.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, or export of certain information.

Some information may not be fully deleted if Dollmob needs to retain it for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, moderation, backup, dispute resolution, marketplace integrity, or operational reasons.

Public Community Contributions may remain available after account deletion where removal would disrupt the accuracy, continuity, safety, usefulness, or integrity of community resources. Dollmob may anonymize or de-identify those contributions instead of removing them.

When an account is deleted, Dollmob may remove, hide, scrub, anonymize, or de-identify public account information such as display name, profile text, avatar, bio, and other public-facing fields where reasonably practicable. Dollmob will not expose a deleted user’s email address or phone number.

Dollmob may permanently retain usernames, marketplace feedback, moderation reports, and records of moderation actions taken against the account where reasonably necessary to preserve marketplace trust, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce rules, maintain accurate safety records, resolve disputes, comply with law, or protect Dollmob, users, or others.


8. Data Retention

Dollmob keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, display content, operate community features, enforce policies, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security, and preserve community resources.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the reason it was collected, account status, legal obligations, safety needs, moderation needs, marketplace integrity needs, and backup schedules.

Examples:

  • Account information may be kept while your account is active.
  • Public content may remain available until deleted, removed, or archived.
  • Private messages may be retained as needed to provide messaging and support moderation, safety, or legal requirements.
  • Reports and moderation logs may be retained to enforce rules, prevent repeat abuse, and protect users.
  • Marketplace feedback may be retained to preserve marketplace trust, prevent fraud, and help users evaluate transaction history.
  • Usernames associated with marketplace feedback, reports, or moderation actions may be retained to preserve accurate safety and trust records.
  • Security logs may be retained to detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access or abuse.
  • Backups may retain deleted information for a limited period before being overwritten.
  • Community Contributions may be retained to preserve public knowledge resources.

9. Security

Dollmob uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting your login credentials, enabling available security features, and avoiding the sharing of sensitive information through the Service.

10. International Users

Dollmob may be accessed by users from different countries. Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where Dollmob or its service providers operate.

Dollmob is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

Users under the age of majority where they live should use Dollmob only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

12. Sensitive Information

Dollmob is not intended for storing or sharing highly sensitive personal information.

You should not submit highly sensitive personal information through the Service, including:

  • Passwords.

  • Private addresses, except where reasonably necessary for a user-to-user transaction handled outside Dollmob.

If Dollmob receives highly sensitive information that is not necessary to provide the Service, Dollmob may delete, restrict, or remove it.


13. Marketplace-Adjacent Activity

Dollmob may provide listing and community features that help users describe items, share availability, provide feedback, or connect with each other.

Dollmob does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, ship goods, verify transactions, calculate taxes, provide insurance, or resolve payment disputes.

Users who complete transactions through third-party services are responsible for reviewing those services’ privacy policies and terms.

Users should be cautious about sharing personal information with other users. Dollmob cannot control what another user does with information you choose to share with them.

Marketplace feedback and related account identifiers may be retained even after account deletion where reasonably necessary to preserve transaction history, marketplace trust, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or user safety.


14. Reports, Appeals, and Moderation Records

If you report content, report a user, appeal a moderation decision, or communicate with Dollmob about trust and safety issues, Dollmob may collect and retain information related to the report or appeal.

This may include the reported content, account information, username, messages, evidence, timestamps, moderator notes, enforcement actions, and related communications.

Dollmob uses this information to investigate issues, enforce rules, prevent repeat abuse, improve moderation, protect users, and maintain records.

Dollmob may not disclose all moderation records to users if doing so would compromise privacy, safety, security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or enforcement.

Moderation reports and records of actions taken against an account may be retained even after account deletion where reasonably necessary to enforce rules, prevent abuse, preserve safety records, or protect Dollmob, users, or others.


15. Public Wiki and Community Knowledge Base

Dollmob may provide a public wiki or community knowledge base.

Wiki contributions and other Community Contributions may be publicly visible and may remain available after account deletion if removal would disrupt the continuity, accuracy, history, usefulness, or integrity of the knowledge base.

Dollmob may preserve, edit, reorganize, moderate, remove, anonymize, or de-identify Community Contributions where reasonably necessary to maintain the knowledge base.


16. Data Export and Shutdown Planning

Dollmob’s goal is to support continuity and user control.

If Dollmob shuts down, Dollmob will make reasonable efforts to notify users and provide time to export available account content where reasonably practicable, subject to technical, legal, safety, security, operational, and financial constraints.

Dollmob may prioritize preserving or exporting public community resources, such as wiki content, where reasonably practicable.


17. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

  • Access personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Export or receive a copy of personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Opt out of certain types of sharing or advertising.
